Kristy is a 100% independent artist and can always use a little
help. If you are interested in finding ways to get Kristy’s
music out there, here are some suggestions.
Tell a friend.
Word of mouth is the number one way for independent music
to get around. Play some tunes for any of your friends or
family. Direct them to Kristy’s web site.
Come to live shows and bring your friends.
Touring is how musicians make a living. Many club owners
decide whether or not they will bring Kristy back to a venue
based on how many people come to the show. Please come down
and bring your friends, family, co-workers, lovers, ex-lovers,
etc.
Purchase Kristy’s disc of brand new songs.
Kristy is trying to raise money to make her next album.
In order to raise funds, she has made home-demos of other
songs. By purchasing one of these discs, you will provide
the financial support so she can go into the studio and
make some of these new songs with a full band. You will
also have rare recordings of these songs that will never
be officially released. This disc of songs is available
through the mail only. It will not be released on the internet
or anywhere else. To order a copy, please send a check or
money order for $12, made payable to “Kristy Kruger,”
and mail to:

Write the words “new disc” on the check
memo. Please include your email address
and phone number in case there any complications with the
transaction.
Host a house concert.
Yes! This is the wave of the future. Invite your friends
and family, make it a potluck, Kristy will perform right
there in your living room. We’ll set a suggested donation
and everyone pitches in. This is the most intimate environment

Pass out flyers.

to join our street team. We’ll send you flyers for
Kristy’s next show (and of course some free goodies).
The best idea is to find a show of an artist similar to
Kristy in your hometown (maybe a Wilco show, a Lucinda Williams
show or one of your hometown’s popular artists). Stand
right outside the door at the very end of the show when
everyone leaving is drunk and excited about music, and pass
out flyers. Let them know if they like these artists, they
may like Kristy.
Make a contribution.
Kristy has no investors. She continues to make albums through
her income from shows, CD sales, and financial contributions.
We have designed a donor form, in which (just like NPR pledge
drives), you will receive “goodies” for your
donations. Radio promoters and publicists are extremely
expensive, but a must-have in the competitive music market
of today. Independent artists simply don’t have the
same promotional budget as artists on major labels. Your
contribution will allow us to properly promote her albums
and help keep independent music alive. Take a look at our

For your pledge of $15, you will receive:
5 songs that do not appear on any of Kristy’s albums
and will not be available for sale.
The Lung Package
For your pledge of $30, you will receive:
5 songs that do not appear on any of Kristy’s albums
and will not be available for sale, and one signed copy
of Kristy’s latest release.
The Bone Marrow Package
For your pledge of $50, you will receive:
5 songs that do not appear on any of Kristy’s albums
and will not be available for sale, one signed copy of Kristy’s
latest release, and one request – Choose any song
that you have heard Kristy play at a show, or ask her to
learn a song you’d like to hear her sing. She will
learn or relearn it and record it for you. You may ask for
a newer version of something already recorded or something
she never recorded.
The Brain Package
For your pledge of $100, you will receive:
5 songs that do not appear on any of Kristy’s albums
and will not be available for sale, one signed copy of Kristy’s
latest release, and one request – Choose any song
that you have heard Kristy play at a show, or ask her to
learn a song you’d like to hear her sing. She will
learn or relearn it and record it for you. You may ask for
a newer version of something already recorded or something
she never recorded. You will also receive one of Kristy’s
humorous short stories from her travels and odd side-jobs.
The Heart Package
For your pledge of $200, you will receive:
5 songs that do not appear on any of Kristy’s albums
and will not be available for sale, one signed copy of Kristy’s
latest release, and one request – Choose any song
that you have heard Kristy play at a show, or ask her to
learn a song you’d like to hear her sing. She will
learn or relearn it and record it for you. You may ask for
a newer version of something already recorded or something
she never recorded. You will also receive one of Kristy’s
short stories from her travels and odd side-jobs and a private
performance for you and your friends at your next gathering
when Kristy is in your area.
