Thanks for stopping by! Please check out Kristy’s latest release, Songs From a Dead Man’s Couch, entitled so because Krüger wrote most of the songs on a second-hand couch, whose previous owner passed away.

It includes ten of Kristy's lyrically dark originals, and a driving, train-beat version of Depeche Mode's "Never Let Me Down Again” that “recasts the song as a spooky hayride” (Americana UK).

Krüger fuses traditional jazz, and country, occasionally mixing alternative Americana and electronics, forming a genre she likes to call: Ameritronica.

Great for fans of Wilco, Rilo Kiley and Lucinda Williams, The Dallas Morning News describes Kristy’s sound as a “female Tom Waits, produced by Daniel Lanois,” and the release also earned her a 2006 Dallas Observer Music Award for Best Female Singer from Dallas’ leading entertainment weekly.
